Hayden turned eight at the end of April. He had such a great birthday and celebrated with a skateboard cake. While his birthday was a lot of fun, he was really looking forward to getting baptized. This is something he had looked forward to for years and the day was finally here.
Hayden was baptized by Todd. We had lots of friends and family there for support. Hayden was so excited to get his very own set of scriptures. He has been reading them every day and really likes the book of job. I am amazed at an 8 year olds comprehension of the scriptures. He surely teaches me every day. What a beautiful day and it was so special to have Todd able to baptize him.

Happy Birthday Hayden! I can't believe that he is already 8. It doesn't seem like it's been that long since I was holding him as a baby. The baptism was so cool. I'm so proud of him for making the choices he's made so far in life. He's a great kid!
